I am concerned at loss of privacy as a result of the trees between the properties being topped.
In addition the security to the back of my property has been compromised by the lack of fencing between our properties.
This would be further exacerbated by more vehicle movements and headlights shining toward the back of house into our living areas.

My concern is in the raising of the roof line of the existing building and the impact this will have on neighbouring properties (overlooking gardens), particularly due to the proposed double doors and balcony in the north elevation at first floor level. I consider it might more appropriate to install a standard window at normal height to avoid sight lines from the proposed living room directly into adjoining gardens, particularly in winter when foliage is thinner.
It may also be appropriate to install close board fencing or a hedge to screen the development from adjoining properties.
I am also concerned with the tree officer's comments about the potential impact on Tree 1 identified in the arboricultural report - namely that the development, particularly being two stories rather than the existing one, and with the outside living space beneath the tree, may lead to future pruning or removal of the tree.

My only concern with this development is whether the developer will be able to ensure that my patient's parking will not be impacted whilst the conversion of the property is taking place. The parking space is shared with 2 other business premises that provides a valued service to the West Hill Community
