Look, I'm all in favour of taking down trees if they are considered to be a danger to the public or property. In this case, as before (re: 18/2119/TRE), this does not appear to be the stated problem. Therefore, I don't see the need to take down the tree.

If, as the applicant says, the tree overhangs the property,and branches can safely be trimmed back without damaging the tree, then that is all that needs to be done. I'm afraid if you live in a "Woodland Village", leaves and shading come as a package along with other benefits that trees offer.
