I oppose this application on the following grounds:
I consider that the proposed extension to the garage including preparation of foundations, additional building of the walls, rendering, modifications to the roof and guttering could not be properly completed without intrusive incursion into and potentially over my property. The proposed extension would replace some views of trees and sky with that of the additional roof.
Recently undertaken landscaping on my property adjoining the fence would also be disrupted and the base of the proposed extension and the level of the damp-proof membrane in its wall (assuming the construction were to match the existing and remaining garage wall) would be below the level of the ground on my side.
The level of inconvenience, noise and mess were this project to be approved would be particularly irksome given the fact that over the last ten months we have had to endure the same in the very recently completed construction of the development.

Whereas we have no legal objection to the proposed construction, we want to ensure that the covenants on the properties are adhered to; specifically that no construction will change the appearance and character of the estate. Furthermore, the proposed roof of the cinema and boot room should be no higher than shown in the plans, lest it create an even greater impact on the outlook from our patio and study. We trust that the building will be done with minimum noise and disruption, as Mr Loncarevic works from home, and the cinema/boot room are adjacent to his home office.
