County Highway Authority

Comment Date: Mon 04 Mar 2019

Observations:
The site sits on the B3261 near to the A35 which provides a versatile highway network for access.
The site benefits from good visibility upon the access. The educational safari tent will not be a permanent structure and therefore opens it up for review should traffic problems occur at a later date. However with the submitted business plan information, I do not believe a significant increase in traffic capacity will occur, ample parking is present or available upon the site.
Therefore the County Highway Authority has no objections to this planning application.

Recommendation:
THE HEAD OF PLANNING, TRANSPORTATION AND ENVIRONMENT, ON BEHALF OF DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL, AS LOCAL HIGHWAY AUTHORITY, HAS NO OBJECTION TO THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT
