Clerk To West Hill Parish Council

Comment Date: Wed 17 Oct 2018

Councillors discussed the application at the parish council meeting on 16th October 2018.
They noted that there had been letters of objection submitted by neighbours. Councillors objected to the application on the grounds of loss of amenity to neighbours due to overlooking. They thought that the glazed balustrade should be removed and the wire balustrading to the rear first floor windows should be fitted in any case, in accordance with the original permission.

The application was considered at the meeting of West Hill Parish Council on 7th August 2018. Councillors commented that the first-floor balustrade has already been built, so this should be a retrospective application. They are aware of objections from neighbours that it overlooks their property.
Councillors objected to the application on the grounds that it overlooks the next-door neighbours' property and affects their amenity.
